2nd soil test done?

Found a hole, seems 2nd soil test been done, but only found 1 hole, surely they would have done more than 1, or they forgot to fill this one after doing it.

Under Ground Electricity Pit Installed

Under Ground Pit is finally done, exactly 20 business days after payment was made.

Waiting for 2nd soil test now, PD has ordered it last week, hopefully they'll do it this week.

Land is ready

Demolition work is done, we now have the land ready for building. PD will do 2nd soil test first.

Talked to the guy who did the excavation, he said the land has lotsa clay in it & it was a fill site previously, so we'll definitely need the piers.

We were wondering where those boulders came from. Upon closer inspection, they were the foundation of the old house, the concrete stump & concrete piers. The land was so unsettled, some of the concrete piers were up to 3 metres deep.


Supposed to finish the demolition work yesterday, but due to the weather, they only cleared half of the land yesterday.

Demolition Started

Demolition has finally started. Passed by the house on the way home & Online Demolition was still onsite working hard at it. He was there since lunch time & he said everything will be cleared by tomorrow afternoon.







He was very skillful & can see that he was trying to sort out the debris by putting the brick to one side, concrete to the other & wood & other materials to another.

Jemena Survey

Got a call from Jemena, they wanted to do a survey on how satisfied I was with their service.

Told the guy on the phone that the underground pit hasn't been done yet, but he insisted to start the survey anyway.

Question 1: Did they dig the ground?
Answer: No, they didn't dig the ground, the pit is still not done yet.

Question 2: Did you meet the workers on site?
Answer: No, I didn't see them at all because the work has not been done yet.

Question 3: Did Jemena did the work to your satisfaction?
Answer: I'm very unsatisfied with the work because it hasn't been done yet.

I think at that moment he realised that "the work wasn't done yet" and he terminated the survey.

More Salvage Work

The Demolition people went to work again today.

They cleared the roof, all the tiles & woods are pretty much gone.
