Land is ready

Demolition work is done, we now have the land ready for building. PD will do 2nd soil test first.

Talked to the guy who did the excavation, he said the land has lotsa clay in it & it was a fill site previously, so we'll definitely need the piers.

We were wondering where those boulders came from. Upon closer inspection, they were the foundation of the old house, the concrete stump & concrete piers. The land was so unsettled, some of the concrete piers were up to 3 metres deep.


Supposed to finish the demolition work yesterday, but due to the weather, they only cleared half of the land yesterday.
