Day 55: Bricks Delivered

Bricks were delivered today. Our selection is Boral Kurrajong. We would like to get Mocha but we cannot get flushed or ironed for the mortar, so we chose Kurrajong instead.




Photo of the exposed steel, still to be fixed.


The frame at the back of the house is about 25mm over the slab, still waiting for this to be fixed as well.


Going to meet the SS onsite tomorrow afternoon, hopefully he can enlighten me of what he's going to do with the slab & frame.

    We are deciding between the Boral Mocha and Kurranjong. Have you been happy with the Kurrajong?

    We were also thinking of either Mocha or the Kurrajong. At the end we decided on the Kurrajong & didn't regret it. The main reason was PD told us we cannot get a flush/iron mortar with the Mocha.
